Wayne Wolfe was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He began painting part time while working as an advertising account executive and copywriter, before pursuing art full time in 1975. Wolfe primarily paints the American Rockies, but his travels also take him to Canada, New England and Europe. He currently lives in Colorado.
